The Dog that Started it ALL!

Spankie was our first Golden Retriever.  We got him while attending Auburn University.  He was simply the best.  He was there when we got engaged and married.  He lived with Brian and kept him company during a year while Susan was working and Brian was completing his Civil Engineering Degree.  He kept Susan company while Brian was temporarily relocated to Baton Rouge for his job.  He helped us welcome our first 2 children.  He was with us when we bought our first home and later when we purchased the farm.  He loved to chase tennis balls until he literally couldn't run any more.  He loved swimming in the pond, jumping on haybales, and being with us.  Our lives will forever be better for the love he showed us and the times we shared.
